Gut Lab
Measure What Matters — Your microbiome trend.
Your microbiome is dynamic—shaped by diet, sleep, stress, travel, and more. The Gut Lab test gives you a baseline snapshot of composition and diversity so you can track your direction over time.
Important: microbiome testing is an emerging field. Results can vary between providers, and most tests are best used for education and trend tracking—not diagnosis.
Why Test?
Because behaviour change sticks when feedback is visible. A diversity score (plus supporting detail) can help you commit to the habits most consistently linked with microbiome diversity—particularly increasing plant variety and fibre over time.

SCIENCE & RESEARCH
The Science of Gut Health
Your gut microbiota helps break down fibres and plant compounds that your body can’t digest alone. In the process, microbes produce metabolites such as short-chain fatty acids that support gut barrier integrity and act as signals that influence metabolism and inflammation.
The microbiota also plays a foundational role in educating and regulating the immune system—helping it respond appropriately to threats while maintaining tolerance to the ‘normal’ world
One practical takeaway from large cohort microbiome research: people who eat a wider variety of plants tend to have more diverse microbiomes than those who eat a narrow set of foods.
That doesn’t mean one test ‘solves’ your health. It means you can use testing as a feedback loop while you build a realistic, food-first diversity habit.
